WHO ARE WE?

Perth Six Circle Project is a voluntary organisation that promotes social inclusion. The Project works with adults who are experiencing exclusion and disadvantage because of challenging circumstances such as mental health problems, substance misuse, prison experience, unemployment and community service orders. By promoting self-help and offering them the opportunity to learn and develop practical, social and personal skills with a view to building self esteem and confidence they are encouraged to make positive changes in their lives so that they can realise their potential.

How Do We Achieve This?

This is primarily achieved by promoting active involvement and service within the local community, the development of independent living skills and the provision of training and work experience.

Service Users undertake Community Projectsiin a variety of practical tasks in the
local community.  We provide help to people who are elderly,  blind, disabled , lone
parents or disadvantaged by health problems. The projects include activities such        as Gardening; Painting Garden Structures; Clutter Clearance and Packing for                 Removals. The work element of the project enables us to put Six Circle's                        Philosophy  into practice, as:                                                                                                                      'In meeting the needs of others we meet the needs in ourselves'

in the community and to advocate on their own
behalf.  This programme includes cooking, food hygiene, healthy eating, household finance, safety in the home, crime prevention and household hints and tips on cleaning and laundry.
                                                                                                                                                                             Preparing lunch

An additional feature of the project is the Health & Wellbeing programme which
   is a  p
